On March 29, 2006,
39 past and current Community Foundation Trustees--of the 110 who have
served since the founding in 1986--gathered for a special wine and
cheese reception at Ceresville Mansion. The event was sponsored
through the generosity of Friends of the Community Foundation, The D.
Hunt and Joan Hendrickson Fund, Robert G. Hooper of Ferris, Baker,
Watts, Don Linton of Linton Shafer Warfield & Garrett, CPA, and W.
Jerome Offutt of the Law Offices of Offutt, Horman and Burdette. Those
Trustees in attendance mingled over refreshments and learned more about
how the Community Foundation is celebrating its 20th anniversary by
launching 20 field of interest funds to address the community's most
pressing needs moving forward.
Trustees arrived to set
tables, a presentation of photos documenting 20 years of Community
Foundation Trustees in action, and a tabletop exhibit on the 20 field of
interest funds:

Chairman Hunt Hendrickson welcomes the
past and current Trustees:

First Chairman Don Linton talks about the
early history of the Community Foundation, joined by President Elizabeth
Y. Day who calls Trustees to think about funding or contributing to a
