The Community Foundation currently manages over $50 million in assets, which are held in more than 600 funds. Funds are established by individuals, families, civic organizations, and businesses to benefit the charities of their choice and to create scholarships. These funds positively impact health and human service organizations, the arts, the environment, historic preservation, animal welfare, education, youth programs, civic causes, elder care services, faith-based organizations, community programs and more.
Donations to all funds are accepted in any amount, any time. Another way to create impact is a gift to one or more of the 20 "Field of Interest" funds. These funds support education, health and human services, recreation, the arts, agriculture, environmental and historic preservation and much more. Impact is greater when many come together – and that's what Field of Interest funds accomplish.
You can also support the Community Foundation by becoming a member of the Widening Circles Society or, if a business or civic group, a Partner in Philanthropy. Your gifts are used to sustain our work in reaching out to the community to promote philanthropy.
