Maryland Shakespeare Festival, Inc. Establishes Fund with Community Foundation
FREDERICK, MD – January 4, 2012: The Maryland Shakespeare Festival, Inc. has established The Maryland Shakespeare Festival Fund. The fund is one of more than 615 component funds of The Community Foundation of Frederick County.
First formed in 1999, the Maryland Shakespeare Festival (MSF) is a vibrant nonprofit theatre company. Through its core of professional actors and theatre artists, it provides quality performances to the mid-Atlantic region, bringing the legacy of Shakespeare to audiences of all ages.
The fund will support the annual operations and special operations of MSF. Board President Judith Rice said, “By partnering with the Community Foundation, MSF intends to take the organization to the next level, both financially and artistically.”
