Community Foundation
Participates in Employee Giving Campaigns
October 9, 2007: Public
sector employees can easily support the Frederick County community by
directing their donations to The Community Foundation of Frederick
County through employee giving campaigns. By simply indicating the
appropriate designation number on their contribution, donations to the
Community Foundation will be used toward its operating budget,
allowing it to continue to fill the needs of the Frederick County
community by awarding grants to worthy nonprofits and scholarships to
deserving students. To date, the Community Foundation has given back
over $17 million to the Frederick County community.
Public sector employee campaigns include the 2007 Combined Federal
Campaign, the 2007 Maryland Charity Campaign for State Employees, the
2007 Combined Charities Campaign for Frederick County Public Schools,
the 2007 Combined Charities Campaign for the City of Frederick, and
the 2007 Combined Charities Campaign for Frederick County Government.

their charitable giving to the Community Foundation through the

participating in the 2007 Combined Federal Campaign of the National
Capital Area
