TRINITY SCHOOL
BUILDING FUND
OPENS AT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
July 26, 2007: Since
September 2002, The Trinity School of Frederick has been offering
students in kindergarten through 8th grade a top-quality liberal arts
education within a safe and supportive Christian community of faith in
a small building off New Design Road. When the doors were opened that
bright September day, no one could have imagined the tremendous
interest in the school and the growth it has experienced in the past
five years. With only 22 students in 2002, enrollment now stands at
89, with a projected enrollment of 130 by 2010.
While staying true to its mission to educate children in a stimulating
academic environment within a Christian community of faith, the
Trinity School will need to have a larger campus in the future as well
as the proper infrastructure to continue educating its students.
In anticipation of these future needs, The Trinity School Building
Fund has been established at The Community Foundation of Frederick
County to provide for building and grounds acquisition, renovation
maintenance, technology, and the other systems imperative to operating
an efficient and up-to-date educational institution.
“Our growth has been incredible,” says Pam Seale, Head of School. “As
we look to the bright future of educating children from all
backgrounds to be leaders with strong character and integrity, The
Trinity School Building Fund at the Community Foundation will help to
ensure that the needs of our students will be met.”
Generous Frederick County citizens have been relying upon the
experience of the Community Foundation since 1986 to manage charitable
funds benefiting a variety of interests through grants to nonprofit
organizations and scholarships to students.
