Agricultural Grant Applications
Available through April 11
for Community Foundation’s Great Frederick Fair Fund
February 28, 2008: The
Community Foundation of Frederick County is pleased to announce that
grant applications are now being accepted through 5:00 p.m. on April
11, 2008, for The Friends of the Great Frederick Fair Fund.
The Fund provides grants for agricultural education, the renovation,
construction and maintenance of buildings used to promote agricultural
activities by nonprofit organizations, and the promotion of
agriculture as an industry and a way of life in Frederick County. All
nonprofit organizations focusing on agriculture are encouraged to
apply.
A committee appointed by the Community Foundation, including
representatives from The Great Frederick Fair, will review and approve
grant applications. All applicants will be notified of the status of
their grant request by May 1, 2008.
