Community Foundation Participates in
Employee Giving Campaigns
October 16, 2009: Public sector
employees can easily support the Frederick County community by
directing their donations to The Community Foundation of Frederick
County through employee giving campaigns. By simply indicating the
appropriate designation number on their contribution, donations to the
Community Foundation will be used to award grants to worthy nonprofits
and scholarships to deserving students. To date, the Community
Foundation has given back over $22 million to the Frederick County
community in funding to the arts, health and human service agencies,
civic causes, historic preservation efforts, environmental groups,
educational institutions, and youth programs and to students studying
at the post-secondary level.
Public sector employee campaigns include the 2009 Combined Federal
Campaign, the 2009 Maryland Charity Campaign for State Employees, the
2009 Combined Charities Campaign for Frederick County Public Schools,
the 2009 Combined Charities Campaign for the City of Frederick, and
the 2009 Combined Charities Campaign for Frederick County Government.

their charitable giving to the Community Foundation through the
following designation numbers:
